Education Committee Co-Chair | Director-at-Large
Alba Monge-Rosa is an accomplished litigation paralegal with more than three decades of experience in the legal profession. Since beginning her career in 1993, she has earned a reputation for excellence, professionalism, and dedication while supporting attorneys and clients through every stage of litigation. Her diverse legal background includes personal injury, medical malpractice, insurance defense, corporate law, general civil litigation, matrimonial law, and immigration law.

Originally from New York, Alba relocated to Utah in 2023 and currently serves as a paralegal with Strong & Hanni. Throughout her career, she has worked on both the plaintiff and defense sides of litigation, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of legal strategy and case management. Her experience includes managing complex litigation matters, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and discovery, coordinating expert witnesses, reviewing medical and litigation records, preparing cases for trial, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Prior to relocating to Utah, Alba worked at Keane & Beane LLP in White Plains, New York, where she supported Donna Frosco, Esq., a partner of the firm and former President of the Westchester Women's Bar Association. In addition to assisting with her legal practice, Alba played an active role in supporting Ms. Frosco's responsibilities with the Bar Association, gaining valuable experience in professional leadership and legal education.

Alba also worked alongside Donald D. Brown, Esq., a partner at Spiegel Brown & Fichera, LLP in Poughkeepsie, New York. While Attorney Brown served as President of the Grievance Committee of the Dutchess County Bar Association, Alba assisted in matters involving attorney ethics, professional responsibility, and disciplinary proceedings, further strengthening her understanding of the legal profession and its ethical standards.

Shortly after moving to Utah, Alba became actively involved with the Utah State Bar Paralegal Division. She was appointed to the Education Committee in 2025 and later served as Education Committee Chair for the 2025–2026 bar year. During her tenure, she organized and hosted bi-monthly Brown Bag educational programs, coordinated the Utah State Bar Paralegal Division's 30th Anniversary Paralegal Day Luncheon, and coordinated the Division's 2026 Annual CLE Conference. Her commitment to continuing legal education reflects her passion for mentoring paralegals and promoting excellence within the profession.

Outside of her legal career, Alba is equally committed to serving her community. She is a proud Three-Star Blue Star Mother and an active volunteer with the Blue Star Mothers of America, Utah Chapter, supporting military service members, veterans, and their families. She also serves as a Youth Leader at Life Church Utah, where she enjoys mentoring and encouraging young people in their faith and personal development.

When she is not working or volunteering, Alba enjoys spending time with her husband, their Shih Tzu, her children, and her grandchildren. Whether serving the legal profession, her church, or her community, Alba is guided by a commitment to integrity, compassion, service, and lifelong learning.
