Upcoming events

"and Justice for All" 5k Run for Justice
Date: May 16, 2026
Time: Registration and Bib Pickup opens at 7:00 a.m. 
Run starts at 8:00 a.m. with a gavel start
Location: Race begins and ends in front of the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah (383 South University Street, Salt Lake City, Utah)
Cost: Before May 3: $41 // May 3–11: $46 // Day of: $51
All proceeds will go to support free civil legal aid programs in Utah
Overview: Join us on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah for a fun run with family and friends, prizes for every division, and a little friendly competition between firms--all while raising funds for civil legal aid programs in Utah! 
All ages are welcome, including families with strollers.
And Justice for All is a collaborative partnership of Utah’s primary non-profit providers of free civil legal aid:

Disability Law Center​These nonprofit agencies provide free legal help to many vulnerable members of our community, including those living in poverty, victims of domestic violence, and people with disabilities. 

Parking: Parking is available at Rice Eccles Stadium (451 S. 1400 E.), just across the street from the race. Or take TRAX (red line to "Stadium"). 
Race Awards: Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female winners of the race, the top male and female attorney winners of the race, and the top two winning speed teams. Medals will be awarded to the top three winners in every division.

Overview: The Fall Forum is one of Utah’s premier legal education events, offering a full day of CLE sessions, keynote presentations, and networking opportunities for attorneys, paralegals, and legal professionals. Topics span ethics, litigation, technology, and emerging trends in the legal field. Paralegal Division members are encouraged to attend sessions tailored to their unique roles and contributions to the legal profession.

CLE Credit: Multiple CLE credits available (including Ethics and Professionalism)

Utah Paralegal Day
Your attendance is requested at a luncheon honoring Utah paralegals, hosted by the Paralegal Division of the Utah State Bar

"The Professional Role of Paralegals in Effective and Ethical Legal Practice"
Professional development for paralegals, legal assistants, and court clerks.  In the context of how to pursue that career advancement, how supervisors can sometimes impede that, what lawyers and judges need to do better to help that career advancement.  And the opportunities that are out there both from the bar, through the AOC, and through professional communities.
