Jennifer Peterson earned her Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies from Salt Lake Community College and, throughout her varied employment, has gained experience in state, federal, and appellate court matters supporting cases in probate, guardianship, bankruptcy, employment, housing, and educational discrimination.

Jennifer recently joined the Office of the City Attorney at Salt Lake City Corporation to gain experience in torts and in affirmative and defense litigation, and to work directly with in-house counsel.

Jennifer is committed to advocating for individuals and communities that are underrepresented in mainstream society and values ongoing professional development. With a strong emphasis on clear communication and public service, she continually seeks opportunities to learn and grow in her career.

Outside of her professional work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and her dog and finds meaning in the small, everyday moments of life.
